It aims to mobilize world-class education and generate resources for supporting mass quality education for all kind of masses & public by Shri Rajesh Goyal, a successful entrepreneur as well as a social worker.AP Goyal Charitable Trust has been carrying out various social and welfare activities in education, health, and welfare sector. The trustees have created adequate linkages, assurance, and support from a large number of leading business houses to ensure the essential ingredients for the promotion of quality education, i.e. adequate financial resources, educational and managerial support and availability of quality faculty besides providing assurance of quality placements. The University befitting its status as the University is offering professional degrees.

HOSTEL FACILITY
AP Goyal Shimla University has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities with boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their own mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students. We have a separate hostel Section under the management of Hostel Management committee. Following facilities are available for hostel residents:
- 1) 24×7 Medical Facility for all the hostel residents.
- 2) 24×7 transport facility
- 3) Weekly and monthly trips of hostel students.
- 4) Solar water geysers.
- 5) T.V. with cable connection.
- 6) Games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Badminton and Volleyball etc.
TRANSPORT FACILITY
AP Goyal Shimla Universityhave Transport Facility available in Campus. It has 21+ buses for transportation of students. Itcover all area of Shimla with various pick-up and drop points in routes. Each bus has been equipped with a First Aid Box, Fire Extinguisher and constant communication is maintained with the teacher and the guard on duty for the security purposes. The Transport Incharge constantly monitors the bus staff and the routes are pre-fixed, keeping in mind the comfort of maximum number of students.
MEDICAL FACILITIES
AP Goyal Shimla University has started a medical centre to provide 24X7 medical facilities for students and staff . One female matron and a nurse will be stationed on campus for any consultation, medical inspection and first aid. The medical centre is well equipped for providing first aid facilities and for prescribing medicine in emergency.
To provide immediate medical attention to the ailing students university has tie-ups with Tenzin Hospital, Panthaghati. University have two ambulances to take the sick to the hospital.
SPORTS AND GYM FACILITY
A P Goyal Shimla university believe that there is no other thing more important than competitive sports which builds the ‘Will to Win’ in our students.
In students life extracurricular activities empower them to gain an accurate experience, skills and confidence to lead them on the path of their future. We at A P Goyal Shimla University provide various sporting facilities which help in strengthening the mental and physical skills of our students. It is truly considered that through participation in sports and different games, students learn cooperation, teamwork, leadership methods and time management. Games also help students discover their hidden talents and help them interact with different people and make them learn about many things outside their own environment.
A P Goyal Shimla University is actively associated with various associations in the state of Himachal Pradesh and is slated to become the premier place for various kind of state Level Championships. A P Goyal Shimla University has been actively associated with HP Boxing Association and has already supported and hosted various championships in its Campus. Besides this A P Goyal Shimla University is proudly associated with various other sporting Associations of the state like HP Football association and Indira Gandhi sports Center etc.

MESS AND CAFETERIA
The A P Goyal Shimla University provides mess facility that caters to the students requirements who reside in hostel. It provides breakfast, lunch and dinner at economical prices. Special care is taken to provide quality and hygienic food to student. A food committee is responsible for monitoring the operations of the canteen mess and cafeteria, implementing and reviewing the canteen/mess policy. Conveniently located cafes and mini refreshment joints are popular gathering places for students, faculty, and staff to eat, study, or socialize with friends.
Whether you are in the mood for a freshly made gourmet sandwich, a cup of hot coffee, a cup of noodles, or a sweet treat, you can find it at one of our campus cafés. Most cafés are located around academic buildings. There are about 10 cafeterias in different blocks of the campus. Apart from cafeterias, there are mini refreshment joints in various spots.
The mess of A P Goyal Shimla University follows the menu on weekly basis decided by the food committee.
There is a café also inside the campus which helps the students to take a break from hectic studies schedules. Sufficient food facilities are provides on very nominal charges.
